Background to changes
Preparing for the migration to the Zoom Nodes Architecture, that will allow for access to all Zoom cloud features in addition to the on-premise, we have now already been moved over to the new license plan, Zoom one for education – Enterprise Essentials.
This was expected but have played out a little different than anticipated.
This means that several things have changed, and new features are now available.
Below you will find a summary of the changes.
Licenses now included
First range of changes relates to license being included in the new license plan.
If you check billing on the Zoom portal (https://eu01web.zoom.us/billing) you’ll notice;
Large Meeting 500 - licenses are cancelled.
That is an effect of them being included in Zoom One for Education Enterprise Essentials in the ratio of 1:1.
Webinar 500 - licenses are cancelled.
That is an effect of them being included in Zoom One for Education Enterprise Essentials in the ratio of 1:1.
Zoom Room – Licenses are cancelled.
That is an effect of them being included in Zoom One for Education Enterprise Essentials with a ratio of 25:1. This means that even the smallest organisations set to 500 FTE’s will have 20 licenses available. (Some of the larger accounts will not be able to run out of Zoom Rooms licenses any time soon.)
Room Connector – Licenses are cancelled.
